‘I have Never Seen Anyone as White as She Was’ mixed media on board 47cm x 35cm

The Beautiful is Always Bizarre. An intriguing title which encouraged me to apply for this exhibition. Glad to be part of  an interesting and different show at Cupola Gallery, Sheffield. Exhibition runs until 10th September.

So delighted to be exhibiting with such a splendid group of artists. Unfortunately only for two days in a ‘pop up’ exhibition space. I have long admired the work of Tom Wood and never dreamt that I would ever get to meet him —let alone exhibit alongside him. I consider myself to be very fortunate.

Pleased to report that this painting was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Open Exhibition at The Mall Galleries.

Grandma's Golden Hair  Unfortunately, another rejection !!!! But I was pleased to get to the second round of judging.

Looking at those who were selected I can understand the decision.

Some brilliant work there.

I had intended to enter this portrait in this years Ruth Borchard self portrait competition at Kings Place Gallery, London. Unfortunately, due to other commitments I am unable to do so.
